Founded a couple of years ago, back in 2017, Cyprus-based sportsbook 22Bet has made significant strides and has started to make quite the name for itself. Thanks to their strong betting platform, range of constantly changing promotions, and variety of betting markets, 22Bet has catered to a vast audience that spreads out throughout the world. At the time of writing, the 22Bet site is available in 50 different languages to help it cater to a worldwide audience.
With a gambling license from Curacao, one of the world’s most respected authorities within the gambling industry, 22Bet are both trustworthy and safe. With that out of the way, let’s dive into our brief review of the 22Bet service and see what they have to offer you, the player.
22Bet Betting Markets and Sports
Despite only being around for two-or-so years, 22Bet have managed to provide an impressively large number of sports markets through their betting site. As a result of 22Bet’s hard work, punters have several different events to choose between when they are looking to place a bet.
With major sports such as football, tennis, and basketball all being covered very well, finding your favorite team, league, or competition to bet on is a breeze. In addition to these sportsbook staples, there are a few “wildcard” sports available to bet on, too. These include squash, hurling, and trotting.
At the time of writing this review, there were well over 40 different markets available to bet on, and we imagine that this number will continue to grow over time as 22Bet goes from strength-to-strength and firmly establishes itself as a market leader.
It’s not just major events and major competitions that are available, either.
22Bet does a good job of covering regional and amateur competitions and events, too… especially when it comes to sports such as tennis and football.
As a result, punters have a lot of choice and could find themselves betting on anything from major Premier League football matches to smaller, lesser-known regional tennis tournaments.
Meanwhile, the betting options available include everything you would expect an industry leading bookie to offer—singles, doubles, accumulators, and handicaps, among others, are all available. Given that the bigger markets (e.g. football) can have over 200 different individual markets within them (e.g. a match’s top goal scorer), there is a whole lot that can be done through the 22Bet platform.
We rate it 5 stars!

One of the website’s downsides is that 22Bet’s odds aren’t always as great as their rivals. The differences are quite small, however—for example, betting on the English Premier League will deliver prices of around 94$ whereas other rivals can deliver 97%.
Personally, we think the trade-off of a few percent is worth what you get in return with 22Bet, a very high-quality online sportsbook that will undoubtedly, over time, drastically improve the betting odds it offers. Remember, 22Bet is still very new.
On sports such as cricket and basketball, 22Bet’s odds are just as good as their competitors, though.
Back to top ↑Live Betting at 22Bet
It is live betting that is arguably one of the platform’s most standout features.
At the time of writing this review, well over 20 different sports could be found taking place live, or will be taking place live in the near future, and this included everything from football to tennis and basketball to cricket.
All live events are accompanied with interesting statistics, engaging graphics that are easy to follow, and betting options that are clearly displayed and easy to follow through with. All markets that offer live betting can be found by clicking the “Live” tab at the top of 22Bet’s main page, and all ongoing events are clearly displayed for punters to choose between.
